Our set includes five stars, each about 4 inches across, made of White Safflower seeds stuck together with an all-natural mixture of gelatin and corn syrup. At our farm, they draw Finches, Chickadees, and Cardinals, and wiser birders assure us that patience will be rewarded with both Red-bellied Woodpeckers and Tufted Titmice. Squirrels and Grackles seem not much interested. Hang from a branch or nail using the raffia ribbon loop. Resistant to heat and rain, slightly brittle in hard cold, but the birds seem not to mind.
