Paperwhite Narcissus 'Ariel' is an earlier bloomer than the familiar ‘Ziva’ and bears 14–18 large, fragrant flowers on each stem. Its snowy white clusters make a dramatic centerpiece or holiday bouquet, especially when paired with the red berries of Winterberry Holly (Ilex verticillata) in our wide hurricane vase. We offer a complete kit: 12 bulbs (that will fill our vase twice), 4 Winterberry stems, 12" glass vase, and river pebbles.

Paperwhites require no preparation and are absolutely foolproof. When bulbs are planted in early December, they will flower in 4 to 6 weeks with seldom a miss. If you start your plantings at 2- to 4-week intervals you can keep the show running all winter. Bulbs may be held for weeks in a warm, dark closet, which allows plenty of flexibility in orchestrating displays for holidays or other special occasions.
